Lake Pleasant | ~45 minutes | Closer to Trilogy at Wickenburg Ranch is Lake Pleasant, the largest lake in the Phoenix and Scottsdale area. It is a beautiful place for hiking and enjoying sunsets among the surrounding sandstone mountains, and a convenient local spot to go swimming, boating, or fishing.
Alamo Lake State Park | ~1 hour, 30 minutes | Alamo is a stunning desert lake known for its largemouth bass and crappie fishing. It’s open to both motorized and non-motorized watercraft. Alamo Lake’s crystal-clear waters and tranquil mountainous terrain make it an ideal spot for wildlife viewing, relaxing, and much more.
Disneyland | ~5 hours, 15 minutes | Did you know the Happiest Place on Earth is just a little over five hours by car from Trilogy at Wickenburg Ranch? When the grandkids come to visit, take a magical getaway—or plan one with your neighbors at Trilogy!
California beaches | ~5 hours, 30 minutes | The California coastline is closer than you think from Wickenburg, and there are many gorgeous California beaches you can visit for a weekend or a week—or longer! The sands, waves, and salty air of Newport Beach, Corona Del Mar State Beach, Crystal Cove State Park, Pacific Beach, La Jolla Beach, Mission Beach, and more take under six hours to reach by car.
Grand Canyon | ~3 hours, 30 minutes | Grand Canyon National Park is considered the most spectacular gorge in the world and is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. This geologic marvel is a must-visit—and living just three and a half hours from it at Trilogy, you’ll be able to go often. You’ll never run out of scenery to enjoy in the Grand Canyon.
Hoover Dam | ~3 hours, 15 minutes | The Hoover Dam is a civil engineering wonder that harnesses the power of the Colorado River to generate hydroelectric power to serve 1.3 million people a year and provide water for urban centers including Phoenix, Tucson, and Los Angeles. This concrete arch-gravity dam has a rich and very interesting history.
Lake Havasu | ~2 hours, 45 minutes | Lake Havasu is one of Arizona’s beloved playgrounds, with white sandy beaches mingling with red rock mountains and palm trees. Lake Havasu City is home to the London Bridge too, which is an interesting bit of history. With 60 continuous miles of lake and river waterways that start where the Colorado River meets the Park Dam, Lake Havasu is paradise for boating, watersports, and fishing enthusiasts. This a favorite destination for Trilogy Members for good reason!
Rocky Point | ~4 hours, 15 minutes | Pack the passport and head to the border for a beach getaway at Rocky Point, Mexico, on the Sea of Cortez. Just 60 miles from the Arizona border, this charming area is both upscale and laidback, with pretty beaches and turquoise waters.
Saguaro National Park | ~2 hours, 45 minutes | The giant saguaro cacti are a sight to be seen, and you can find nearly two million of them in Saguaro National Park in the Sonoran Desert—along with 24 other species of cactus. The saguaro bloom in late April through early June, creating an extraordinary landscape that you might find yourself wanting to visit every year.
The Red Rocks of Sedona | ~2 hours, 15 minutes | People love Sedona for its culture, arts, and more, but Red Rock State Park is the place of majestic buttes, panoramic views, crimson rock formations all around, and unbelievable beauty. This geological wonderland is quintessential Sedona.
Las Vegas | ~4 hours, 30 minutes | Trilogy at Wickenburg Ranch Members are just a little over a four-hour drive from the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas. Endless entertainment, iconic restaurants, incomparable nightlife, the world-renowned Las Vegas Strip and its famed hotels and casinos…we could go on about all there is to see and do, but you know already!
