Whether it’s restaurants, entertainment, activities or more, an abundance of adventure is waiting for you nearby the Emblem at Oro Ridge community. We’ve featured a few locations to visit within a short, 15-minute drive of the neighborhood:

Emblem Oro Ridge 5014

San Tan Regional Park: This 10,000 acre desert preserve hosts a variety of recreation activities ranging from hiking, to biking and horseback riding; a hop, skip, and a jump from your Emblem at Oro Ridge home. You can’t go wrong with any of the nine available trails, as you take in the landscape of surrounding saguaro cacti. Be sure to keep an eye out for any wildlife in this open space!

Desert Hiking

Downtown Queen Creek: You won’t need to travel far for quality restaurants or entertainment, when the heart of Queen Creek is right around the corner! Grab a bite to eat at the Olive Mill, San Tan Flat, or Barrio Queen; all within a 20-minute drive of Emblem at Oro Ridge. You can always catch a movie or do some shopping at the Queen Creek Marketplace or stop by the Horseshoe Park & Equestrian Centre for rodeo nights, concerts, fairs and more.

Schnepf Farms: Enjoy a chill morning or afternoon at one of Queen Creek’s oldest operating farms, where you can go peach picking and enjoy some delightful cinnamon rolls or biscuits at the Schnepf Farms bakery. Aside from the garden picking and bakery available at this historic location, glamping under the stars, a petting zoo, seasonal events like farmers markets, and even wedding receptions are available at Schnepf Farms; winner of the WeddingWire Couples Choice Awards three out of the last four years. This establishment, over 70-years-old,  is approximately a 10-minute drive from the Emblem at Oro Ridge community.

Peach Orchard

Golfing: Arizona is widely known as a hotbed for year-round golf in the United States, and Queen Creek has plenty of beautiful courses suitable for both beginners and scratch golfers. Encanterra Country Club, a private, Tom Lehman designed course, provides unmatched views of the San Tan Mountains and Superstition Mountains. Queen Creek golf courses, like the Apache Sun Golf Club and Las Colinas Golf Club, offer challenging fun to players of all skill-levels. After your round at Las Colinas, stop by the Social Birdie for a cocktail and some pickleball or cornhole games!
